Compare two common graphic editing programs.

-Understand the difference between the primary graphic editing programs used in the screen printing industry
-Both vector and pixel programs are needed for screen printing graphics and both have different strengths
-Discuss the skill level required to efficiently use one different types of programs
-Discuss which program type is more essential to screen printers (both are important)
-Review some simple editing tasks within each of the programs
-Take the same, simple graphic image design and open them simultaneously (side by side) in Photoshop and Illustrator to explore the difference
-Discuss the difference in the file size for these identical images looking at them in different image formats
-Compare differences in the speed of editing/manipulating drawings
-Compare how lines are created in a vector versus pixel program
-Compare the difference in detail in a vector versus pixel program
-Look briefly at some of the tools available within these programs
