Horizon Features
The Horizon frame is built from heavy duty steel which facilitates high speeds and smooth production cycles. Its large column with thrust ball bearing provides registration stability and long life. Its small footprint accommodates tight spaces.
The pneumatic indexer contains a hydraulic shock absorber that is air-cooled for superior running efficiency and durability in a wide range of operating conditions. The heavy duty linear bearings are easily accessible for maintenance.
The main control panel has a digital microprocessor that is easy to program for fast set-ups. It rotates 340 degrees for easy access at any station, and is programmable for:
1. self-diagnostic features
2. automatic sequential start/finish functions
3. multiple print strokes for each head
4. sample print feature to print one shirt automatically
5. dwell times to adjust cycling speed/cool down time
6. full flash programming including dwell
7. the screen displays print count and speed (dozens/hr)
Individual print head controls perform the following functions:
1. print speed
2. flood speed
3. screen clamping
4. squeegee pressure
The tool-less adjustments include:
1. gauged, front/rear stroke adjustments that are easy to slide into lock/unlock positions
2. gauged, click-type squeegee/flood bar knobs that provide operator-friendly depth adjustments in .005 increments
3. gauged, squeegee/flood bar angle adjustments that allows single-handed locking in a 0 – 30 degree range, marked in 5 degree increments
4. 3-point micro-registration enables quick and accurate screen positioning - front to back, left to right, and rotational

Horizon Options and Accessories
Servo Indexer is optimal for the Horizon. Servo indexing provides for a very noticeable smoother, faster and quieter indexing which promotes faster production rates and a much quieter environment for machine operators.
AC-driven print heads are available on units with servo indexer. Must be factory installed and cannot be retrofitted. AC heads provide increased power and control of the print and flood strokes. They are an optimal choice when using dense inks or for high-end work where maintaining consistent speed across the entire stroke length is crucial.
Foot pedal controls both auto and manual index modes.
Tool-less individual head off contact (IHOC). Simply turn IHOC knobs a specific number of clicks to individually control the off contact on any head. Purchase for one, all, or any number of specific heads.
Screen width extenders. These allow for the use of wider screens, and facilitate a wider maximum image area.
Skip Shirt Smash buttons located at both Load and Unload Station to prevent printing on blank pallets or misloaded t-shirt.
Squeegee Pressure Regulator provides exact squeegee pressure control.
Front and Rear Screen Holders for those who prefer side loading of screens in tight spaces.
Tool-Free Pallet Locator speeds pallet changeover.
Flash Cure Units. A full range of flash cures are available for use with the Horizon including the Infrared Shuttle Flash and the Medium Quartz Rapid Wave Flash.
The Pneumatic Driven Medium Quartz Q-Runner Flash is available when flashing and printing on the same head is desired. This can add versatility to your press. Great for adding flash capability without reducing the color capacity.
Pallets. Numerous sizes are available in a variety of styles including Quick Release, slide clamping style, youth, sleeve, double sleeve, all-over and jacket hold down. We can make a custom pallet for your application.
We can customize an entire press for your application. Need a different print stroke length? We can add it. You will never use a specific station as a print head? We can remove it. We have manufactured special use presses for applications such as printing on promotional bags. Let us know what your requirements are and see what we can do.
4, 5, 6 and 8 color machines can be constructed to fit through standard walkthrough doorways. Just let us know your requirements. This MUST be specified at time of order and cannot be retrofitted.
